I kinda like them. They are fairly light too... He's got Fuchs but they didn't come with the car and he is saving them for his 356 race car. Do you think that's a negative for the sale ?

Not my cup of tea on a 911, but it's all in the eyes of the beholder...

1967 Porsche 911 SWB - One Family Ownership From New - Coys

At Coys Auction: Spring Classics, Tuesday 11th March 2014, London, UK.
    http://www.coys.co.uk/auction.php?it...8&auctionID=41

    Estimate: £40,000 - £50,000 (~US$ 66,912-US$88,640)
    Registration Number: EU Taxes Paid
    Chassis Number: 306693

From Coys Description of the Car:
"Leaving the factory on 23rd June 1967, this 306 chassis numbered Short Wheel Base 911 was destined to start life in sunny California. Repatriated back to the UK in July 2013, 306693 has been in one family ownership since new. As one would expect, accompanying the car is a considerable history file showing invoices from 1967 right up until 2012, with close to 100 maintenance invoices over the last 45 years.

Along with the large number of receipts in the history file is a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity confirming this example is matching numbers car and comes with a new MoT certificate.

Bodily, as you would expect with a California car; the silver coachwork is in good condition. The interior, finished in black still retains many rare period original features, including rare period door cards, and its original steering wheel."
