Auction Descriptions:
Production of the Porsche 911 line started in 1963 and lasted until 1989 when it was succeeded by the 964, which is a modified version of the 911. The 911 has undergone various changes through the years, being upgraded as technology improved. The Porsche 911 has been a common car to be modified by private parties for rallying, racing and other automotive competition forms. The 911 is known for being a rear engine, air-cooled car.
Finished in Ossi Blue with Red Leatherette interior, this sporty 911L Coupe is sure to be a blast to drive. The powerplant of this 1968 Porsche is a 2-liter flat six-cylinder engine that is capable of producing 130-hp. The five-speed manual transmission shifts smoothly and the engine revs freely and sounds great. This Porsche sports many options including the ‘Golde’ Electric Sunroof (many Porsche enthusiasts say this is a rare option), a tinted windshield, a Blaupunk radio, headrests and Dunlop tires. The ‘L’ in 911L indicates that although this Porsche has a normal spec 130-hp engine, other aspects of the car like brakes, trim and suspension are the upgraded 911S specifications. The ‘L’ was made exclusively for the American market, and they were only produced in 1968. It is said that this Porsche has only had a few owners and it is described as an excellent driver-quality 911. The engine and transmission match the Certificate of Authenticity that is offered with this Porsche 911L.

I'm wondering if the red interior is original to this car. The door panels are incorrect as well some other interior items.
