If you have the inte$tinal fortitude to stomach a restoration of an SWB, this is a great starting point given the car's origins.

What would you estimate the difference in value of this example's provenance compared to an ordinary run of the mill 67 SWB Soft-Window Targa?

I'm going to say the 67 SWT was well bought at $90K. Probably $80K worth of engine... making the chassis cheap.

    Hi

He did just fine at 90,000 remember the chassis had all s performance features except the rear sway and it had an odd transmission # with strange tires. The gentleman that is going to restore the car is neighbors with Mr. Neerspach, so at some point we will get to hear the rest of the story, there was talk of a Book. It would have financially made more sense to hold the car but my parents were not in a position to. It went to a good home and I look forward to seeing pictures someday.
