207.2 includes the commission. To be picky, which is what we do to understand what's wrong/right for our selves, it has 68 fenders with 4-bolt grills ( as does my 65.5 911!), high gloss black painted dash, overly glossed wood, painted door hinge pins, and incorrect door hinge bolts. Otherwise the car presented very nicely. IMO, the nicest SWB here at Amelia is #32 at Gooding, Steve Harris' 66 slate over red. That should bring considerably more.

Dave DeMaria did the restoration. It was stunning in person.

pss alerted me to this 1965 Porsche 911 very rare in good condition! - $116000 (Lake Oswego) https://portland.craigslist.org/clc/...550337518.html.
The price is in the range where I'm not sure whether it's a scam or not.

Seems too good to be true, as anyone owning an early car for 40 years would be aware of market values. For the records, VIN 301380
Interesting that a shot of a Japanese magazine showing the car is included, couldn't find anything on that or the VIN. Maybe someone else will.

I do know that its chassis number is 2 less than mine (a champagne yellow car) and one greater than this: PORSCHE 911 "MAY" 1965' TOP RESTORED! MATCHING NUMBERS AND COL (1965). 301380 may well have left the factory painted champagne yellow.

I found that listing and sent it to Jacques. I spoke with the guy that listed the car and he said he was helping a gentleman that is rather ill help sell the car and didn't know much. He said the owner also has a 1964 356C that is red as well. If it were closer to me I would have taken a look but it is in Portland.
