Hi, I will have to check what we have had here with regards to vin and build, but from memory we had nb 0002 for the 1969 E, and also in storage is a T motor with a very early number i think ends 001. I will check.

the air mixer is correct for RHD. All RHD have them high, LHD have them low. It is a great tell tail to see if a car has been converted from one to another (usually LHD to RHD)

Hi Mike... I have the Knee Bar in the car and will refit when I get home... wanted to check the number underneath...

    Hi Raj,

thanks for the info... the interior mirror has a number on the back and will get my wife to send it to me, when I get home I will scratch inside of the bumpers to see if therse ivory inside,
this may give me a clue if they have been replaced..... im thinking loud here but my interior is #9922 (special interior) could the door cards, dash & mirror be a part of this and thats the reason for change?

how the hell do I find out? exciting but I'm scratching my head!
Anything you think I should check.....
