Here is a quick candid clip of Patrick coming to the pits after the race. My favorite quote "Ohhhh my gosh......" haha

Chad, I know you have mentioned having trouble getting heat in your tires on the first few laps. Was some of that sawing at the wheel due to cold tires? It sure did not seem to slow him down at all. I wonder what he could have done if that first lap were a flying lap instead of having to accelerate like that.

I have that problem in the colder months. Its still there, but I reevaluated my starting pressures to help that issue.
Some of that steering was due to "colder" tires, but there is also sand. Some parts of the track also has some type of sealant on it.

You have to keep in mind that this car is old, with old technology. If you want to drive fast, your are going to be steering like that. Sawing the wheel in an early car just means you know how to drive it.

I wonder about that time also. He was flying.

I took a big man to let the Z driver have his day. He will be talking about that for the rest of his life, that is unless someone lets him in on the secret...

By the way Chad, your car got my vote for the coolest car at the RR4.

The Z driver is a friend of yours, Chad, and of Patrick as well, correct?

Yes. I know him from racing, but Patrick grew up with his family.
