    Targa California April 12-14, 2012

    Update 4/4/12
Thanks to everyone who entered. The event is sold out, the route set, tour books being printed, and I am all worn out ! We will have a great time if we be considerate of others we share the road with. To make the event more interesting, we have different route options available to you. So when you get the route books, read thru them first and then decide which path to follow.

Buttonwillow Raceway is ready for us , for the parade laps on Thursday, too

Be safe on your journey to the start and see you soon !

4/8/12 A spot is open if anyone else wants to join in. Contact Bud (see page 6 of this thread) and me targacalifornia@gmail.com asap ! Rain is forecast for Wednesday, but the rest of the weekend should be clear. We drive either way

    thanks

    Targa California

Great news! Targa CA is a fantastic drivers event as Dave always maps out some epic drives for us! Some may realize that this is a new hotel for the event. It is however located right next door to our usual hotel the Black Oak Inn. I made reservations today with no problem, at present they have plenty of rooms blocked for us at $103 per night. Selection of King, or double queen, non-smoking or smoking... take your choice. Thank you dis-organizers and sponsors!!!

With all good intentions of driving out this year, I have made reservations at the hotel.
I have some business in LA that may just coincide with the event if I can swing it.

Is there anywhere to sign up, send money, get further information etc?

Thanks, really looking forward to it!

That is great! Please bear with me on the new website. We are working away on it and should have it ready soon. Will announce here so everyone will get a chance to register and find out more details about this great fun event.

Bud, if you need to "pit stop" at a shop, we (and other local P car enthusiasts) can help out too.

Remember to invite your non-Porsche owner friends, with classic pre 75 models, to join us too. As always we have a blast.

Also new this year is our fund raising drive for a very worthy cause. Details to follow soon

What if a person doesn't have a car to bring or it's too far to get there but by air. Can some drivers let them ride shotgun on these rallies?

    Thanks

Happens all the time. Post here , and on the Pelican parts site (911 tech article threads), for the opportunity. You can then coordinate a ride. Hope you can join us !!
