12/4 Sunday after cars and coffee...OC PCA AX at El Toro.

I don't get to see my Orange County R Gruppe buddies often enuf...
but I will be in your back yard Sunday.
10 minutes from cars and coffee is a PCA AX that I have entered w/ my 69 911.
Come on out I'll have shade and chairs and New 12x23.5 and 14x24.5 Avon slicks.
Car should be great, now if only I can learn the track in only 8 laps...
Anyhows its close to the morning CC show, drop over for a visit if you have the time.
    cheers,
    Tall Mike

That's this Sunday? I'll be coming back from San Diego on Sunday AM. If I can get my 911 back together by tomorrow I'll take it with me on my trip and stop by to see you guys and gals...otherwise forget it.

Marco doesnt matter what car you have try and stop over if you have the time.
The track is just 3 min off the freeway.
But if you have the 911 and your helmet you could enter the event!
So you gotta gf in tj now???

    Hey Tall Mike...
If I've got my cars right....you were on the RRIV drive with the group Paul organized...driving your turbo-look. True?
I was behind you in the white 911SC.... well, truth be told...I was a good 20 seconds behind you and Paul through the twisties..but I had a blast.
I autox my Mexico Blue 911 with OCR every month. If I've got the right Mike... I'll stop by and say hey. Here's my autox'er.

Only could get 110 degree tire temp in sessions 1 and 3.

it ran within .4 of top time of day.
    Big thanks to Tom Ridings.
In session 2 he ran the grid I was able to keep heat the tires.
4 50 second laps were tightly spaced....
rear brakes first and a lap later rear tires got some heat.
That car just needs more heat in it.

Mean while other cars were spraying water on their tires to cool down.

    Cool G Burner

When you said '69 porsche I paused, then I had to look at the picture.....oh, yea that's what it started as. Between you and Buhinkies' car, both started off as 1969 stock 911's.Very photogenic...nice Mikie !!
