    Smile A lovely 912....

When in Monterey in August 2010 (!), I left what I thought was a very low bid on a one owner sand beige 912 from 1966. The car was purchased new at Wester Garage in Monterey and was driven to Seattle when its owner was hired by Boeing.

In any case, I got the car, shipped it to Rotterdam and eventually it arrived in Geneva in November of that year.

Initially, I thought of restoring it into a "driver" I could use in the Winter months, but the car had never been painted or restored and was really original. I realized it had some rust issues that could become quite serious:

So...... I embarked in a full restoration of the car... and this is where we are a year later:

Lovely little car. Doesn't deserve a sub-911 treatment:

absolutely gorgeous Milou! these really are great little cars. maybe not the same speed or HP, but the handling is great, they look fantastic and easy to work on.
