    Need help identifying this seat

Hi all. Hope the seat experts here can tell me if the seat pictured was an original equipped or an option for early 911 or 912. What is the model or manufacturer for such seat? What is an estimated value in it's present condition or fully restored? Who could you recommend to have such seat properly restored?Name: 912 048.jpg

If you actually weight the seats in a real R and compare them to seats from Recaro and scheel that are R spec, the R seats in the car are LIGHTER-i think that everything was custom ordered on the R-even the steering wheel is the same story. So,i say unless they are from a real R they are not R seats.

Raj, I am a very literal person. And you do state that you lost out (in the bidding on the eBay auction for DIFFERENT seats than are referred to in THIS post at the beginning, start of this post. So to be clear), regarding the pictures of the seat ABOVE, in this post, do you think they are original to an R seats. And, then for the eBay seats that you lost out on which I post below, what do you think are these R seats. from what I read on the eBay German action seller is not claiming R seats. Thanks! -Allen-
PS The eBay seats sold for big Euro's..soon to be DM ??!!!

Finally removed the old and ugly cover and surprisingly found the original foam pads and corduroy fabric on the seat insert. Cables and tension wire still in good reusable condition.
Took weight measurements on the ff: Shell only - 8 lbs., tilt bracket - 10 lbs and seat rails - 5 lbs.
