    Thanks for a great couple of days with some wonderful people, cars, and scenery. Although I'm a newbie I never felt like one. Your hospitality, and generosity was heart felt. I'm completely hooked on these cars and can't wait for the next event.

    Karl gassing up his beast...

    Quick, somebody tell Karl that the gas doesn't go there!

    Marco's driving home? Awesome! We will have to make him an honorary MW member. Probably already been through Chicago, no? If not and you are spending the night here, drop me a line and we can have a beer at our "garage.". Safe travels. Dad with you?

    Not to pile on Karl (but what the hell, I will) - are logging trucks faster than tanker trucks

    Another fantastic event. Thanks to Lewis, Paul, Jim, my father, and the rest of the R Gruppe/Early 911S guys (and gals... Judy!) for organizing. Big thanks to everyone who showed up... great people and great cars. It was nice seeing familiar faces and meeting new folks. Already looking forward to the next gathering. For the sake of browsing, I've uploaded my photos to my Flickr account, rather than posting individually on here... Click here to check out the shots from the weekend.

    I had the 911 jacked up with the wheels removed for my annual post-Melee undercarriage cleaning and look what was waiting for me...

    [ATTACH=CONFIG]216525[/ATTACH

    This could have happened back in April at the Targa or at Treffen. I would hope I would have noticed this on the Streets of Willow Springs!!! At any rate, what is the best solution so this never happens again? The mount itself is already welded to the car. Guess I need a better mount...
