    Introducing: The AZ Weissach Gruppe

All, Please allow me to introduce the AZ Weissach Gruppe -> dedicated to excercizing long hood 911s on our fine Arizona roadways.

We are a small dedicated group that came to realize recently that there is nobody out here that does much of anything with long hoods so we created something ourselves

We meet every first Saturday of the month at Scottsdale Cars and Coffee and (if weather permits) we have a drive around Scottsdale/ Phoenix. Anything from a couple of hours to a full day.

No rules, no fees, no board, nothing official - we just get together and drive our cars. Most of us have ties to the Arizona 356 outlaws, so we are used to this - why change it.

At our first inofficial meeting we had a few cars ('65, '67, '68, '71 and a '73) it would be great if we got a few more next time.

Time for an update... seriously past due.

We still meet every first Saturday of the month, BUT we now meet at Porsche themed Coffee shop 4till4 in old town scottsdale (www.fourtillfour.com).

Generally speaking 30-40 cars show up every meeting, 95% air cooled 911, 912 and 356s. Some enthousiasts bring their new 991 out for some fun. Pretty much every month we have a few cars come out of the woodworks, just a few weeks ago we had a 67 911 coupe show up after a 37 year slumber and an early S from a long term restoration.

It's been great fun, plan to stop by when you are in the Phoenix area.
