Fantastic Juan!...Nothing like a well driven well engineered 2.0 old school long hood race car. It is amazing what people are getting from those motors. Especially in such capable hands as yours.

any in car at Lime Rock?.....and if u don't mind..what is a well driven lap time for you there?....

    do you run r6's?....

    thnx
    Joel,

I've only driven Lime Rock once. My best lap was a 1:01:5 there. With practice it could be perhaps 1 sec faster. I know various things I could have done better. I was in the middle of the points championship and my goal was to finish in the top 5 that weekend to secure the championship.

Here's a fast lap FYI from practice 1 that weekend (not a perfect lap by any stretch but still a fast one). I also, lifted when another car went off track (you can see it at 00:35). Lovely track but STAY OFF THE CURBS:

I could listen to that car of yours all day.....

Lime Rock is a tricky course - especially in a momentum car.
I think of it as one half uphill from Big Bend to West Bend and then downhill from there to the end of the straight.
Sure hope to make it back there a few times this year.

It IS an awesome bike !!!!
I sorted it out yesterday and went for a nice soul cleansing, winter shedding run.
It is the motorcycle equivalent of the 911 Normal - The 250 Metralla being the 911S.

The R69S is all original and so it needs a bit of sorting ( starting with the tires) but it's all there and almost ready to go.
Bummler has a REAL NICE /5 - real nice.
