    Excellent photos. No doubt, car #37 in your photos, is the same #37 in my photo, next to the car under construction.

    a coincidence...

    here is an interesting coincidence.... I was at an antique flea market this morning...collecting rusty stuff for my man-cave, as I've been known to do, and picked up this Porsche.

    Those photos of the bare chassis look familiar--In 1979 Peter Price and I stripped down 906/126 and took the bare chassis to "Redistrip" for dipping!! I still recall spending hours with a pressure washer trying to get the chemicals out of the tubes. I wonder if that chassis survived or had to be replaced? Ignorance was bliss!

    The way it was, how tubular chassis were welded, not too pretty, is it...
