    Marelli twin plug distributor cap-used

Used Marelli Distributor cap. I am thinking it was originally fitted to a Ferrari (bought it at an estate sale of a Ferrari guy). Looking online it looks like it can also be used for a twin plug application for a 911 as well as Jaguar V12's. This is a dual coil setup cap. There is some chipping as seen in the pictures, but nothing that I'd believe would effect performance. There is a similar used cap listed on Ebay for a Ferrari 250 and it has a Buy-it-Now price of $325. I'm betting that is wishful thinking. You can have this one shipped to your door for only $55/offer. It was kindly pointed out to me that you can buy new caps for these, but the "Marelli" caps are not actually made by them in Italy anymore. It does have brass components.

I passed on this a few days ago and shouldn't have; if Olivier doesn't want it I will take it.

    Hi

Just a few words to say that John is a pleasure to deal with. Cap was shipped the day after I paid. John refund mme the difference between what he thought shipping would be and the actual shipping cost. I spent today about 5 minuts to open the parcell which was really strong!

50$ plus actual shipping plus top communication plus a great packaging for that rare piece...
John next time you have interesting stuff, please pm me directly!!!!

    Thanks again

Just a few words to tell everybody my experience with John.

Cap was shipped the day after I paid.
John assssked me 50$ for shipping. He ferund me the difference between actual shipping cost and the 50 he asked me.
Cap arrived today and I must confess that I was a little upset after 5 full minuts trying to open the double boxing with some kind of very resistant tape...
In addition i received several emails from him very tipe consuming to read...

Well I hope everybody here got the humour hidden in my post. Please if John advertise here again great stuff at low price, please don't buy from him and LET ME BE THE FIRST TO DO IT!

    John thousand thanksfrom old France.

    Olivier,
Thanks for the kind words. One benefit of being partially unemployed is that I can spend extra time creating diabolical ways to wrap the items I am trying to sell. I'll look you up next time I visit France.
