    Yeah, I agree. Given that the factory Monte cars were based out of the UK, I'm guessing the originals shown in contemporary photos were probably Lucas Rangers. A pretty easy swap. The car sold almost immediately, so hopefully the new owner fixes the few minor details (the engine compartment was a little off too) that weren't quite right to take it up a notch. A very cool sleeper of a car though.

    Turns out the buyer is Jay Leno, apparently he knows a bargain when he sees it. Fortunately he has the wherewithal to put the few off details right.

    Seinfeld's comment on the sale...... "LENO!"
