There's a pretty cool 69 tangerine Targa over on PP. I knew the car for 20 years and as a matter of fact I still have the original engine for it. Super rust free AZ car.

Frank , thank you , but I want to buy a coupe . This is a very nice targa and I will probably get it if I did not have a convertible already.

Hi Patrick, I live just outside of Bellport on Long Island. If you find a car and need any help there's a lift in my garage and I'm always happy to lend a hand.

Good luck with the search, and if you pass up on anything local, send it my way.

    Cheers,
    Mike

No apologies necessary: The 912 market , fraction-wise , has gone up just like the 911 market. finding good cars are less and prices are higher.

I am considering selling my 68. Its not perfect, but very nice. Runs great, with a freshly rebuilt 5 speed in original 4 speed case, lots of sick stuff like that. Purchased a few years ago from second owner of 30 years. See my photobucket for restoration photos. I cant believe I dont have any of the completed project. On page 4, see image 6532, and 6533 for the only chassis rust on car. It is the best car Ive ever had for lack of rust. Restoration photos start on page 6. Before restoration pictures start on page 12. http://s167.photobucket.com/albums/u137/WM711/?start=0

this looks like a good one in Norfolk. Painted dash cars are pretty rare.

    not mine.

For those of you wanting to see my car in its final stages of completion, Ive posted 125 photos. Its still not 100% done. The only reason Im selling this car is because Ive got an Italian delivery Dalmation Blue 73E that has been waiting patiently for restoration. Walt has my engine, nuff said. Please PM me if interested. Photo link http://s167.photobucket.com/albums/u137/WM711/
