FS: Very Nice, Original Finish Gas Tank

When I purchased my car she came with a long list of additional parts that I've been slowing selling to defray the cost. Here's the latest. A very, very nice original finish gas tank with NO RUST. It does have a few scrapes on the bottom, but no dents. This tank does not need to be boiled or resealed. You may decide to give it a light coat of paint, or simply re-touch some of the chips. Tank does not include the sender or fittings.

Asking $450 + $75 FedEx Ground anywhere inside the continental US. If you'd like it shipped elsewhere or by some other method then the shipping will be adjusted accordingly. I can even ship on your own account if you prefer. The tank will be properly and safely packaged.

    email or PM please.

    Thanks,
    Mike

That's the actual FedEx cost I recently paid to have a tank sent to me from Washington State to New York (thanks again Chris N.).

I think maybe you should look elsewhere for a tank Dave. I bet you could do a lot better locally. This tank is all original and out of a 50k mile car with original finish. Sounds to me like you're looking for the easiest, cheapest way to get a tank, and mine isn't the answer to that problem.

    Cheers,
    Mike

Regarding shippping, for what it's worth, you might want to consider Greyhound. They do really well with oversized and heavy stuff...only downside is you have to drop off and pick up at the local depot - no door to door. You can check rates and depot locations on greyhound.com
