    I don't think it's the same car. Compare the pictures here and in the other thread closely. Many things don't match. Steering wheel, fuel door, dent in center of front bumper, etc.

    When you take the underside apart can you post what you found regarding the shocks. Both the struts and the rear shocks. Expecting Boge all around if not changed out over the history of the car. Much appreciated

    The 67 S is almost completely naked. Now designing my own chassis metal bracing for a zero flex while the car is being dipped and fabricated. To many times I see these targas restored without no bracing causing huge headaches when fitting panel with 3-4 mm gaps. Do right the first time and be done with it...

    Thanks for the information on the shocks. Definitely settles any questions in my mind. Big problem is that they don't restore Boge shocks. Where to get ones for this old a car. Thanks again Freddie

    With the targa now braced to OEM specifications, we can start the metal fabrication by first removing the original undercoating and getting her ready for acid dipping.
