    This is beautiful!

    First the 100l tank, then I noticed the last photo looks to be of the thermostat and hard line plumbing for a front cooler...

    What other special things do you have planned for this car or should I just wait for the pictures?

    Note: the screws I used in this photo are wrong.
    I bought them from Porsche, using the modern pet code and description: "pan-head screw M8x20 " and i thought they were correct.

    BUT i saw an unmolested 2.2 911 S here in Italy and the screws were different...

    So I checked in the original real 1/69 ed. PET manual that i have and i found that the description is: " Bolt hexagonal head DIN 912, 8.8 verz. !!!!!

    Never trust in technology.... you need the old good books!!

    I finally found an original photo of my menthor ( and now a friend), Piero Monticone ( the first tall guy on the left) , shooted during 1970 Targa Florio, where he run with his friend Fiorenzo Genta on his 911 S my 68.....

    ... note the correct gr.3 added rear fenders ( fia approved from that year...)

    He is the prototype of the sixties/seventies gentlemen driver that inspired my restoration project.
