i wouldn’t be as concerned about the fan as the color of the hardware on the trans or missing cap on injection pump or injection pipe clamp missing. Hope u drive it.

Looks like good skiing on the Palmer Glacier. Mt Hood.

Lol. Work in progress. Missing pieces were being (re)plated. Not sure which trans hardware you are referring to though. Robert pulled off about 12 bolts, screws and clamps to replate because they didn't match his reference cars. Fortunately he's doing all plating in the shop, so it's a one or two day turnaround now.

Not sure I catch your drift Frank. I was just saying that the amount of cosmoline a customer might see depended on how well the dealer cleaned the cosmoline off the components. And in the case of the fan, the hue might change as a consequence. The surface finish on the fan is much rougher than I've seen on some over-restored versions (which look gorgeous in their own way). Willing to be corrected on all counts.

Its hard to do a build thread when people call out stuff that’s missing but will be installed. I guess we should just post the finished car and nothing enroute to that. Aren’t those called For Sale Ads?
