Awesome Ravi! I admire your attention to details and also your amazing perseverance... 304598 has been at the shop (not Robert's) for three years and counting and I am envious to see you actually in your car!!!

Great source for cloth covered fuel and evaporative system hoses in metric sizes. Pattern matches almost perfectly. www.Belmetric.com . Also the proper Norma metric clamps. Which need a Chromate bath, but that's the easy part. They also have tons of metric fasteners if mail order is your thing. If you buy the imperial equivalents you often need to get the one-size-larger metric clamps (19 instead of 18 mm) and there goes your authenticity (not to mention if someone ever orders a clamp from the PET it will be the wrong size).

Just need to chromate these clamps. Already zinc galvanized.

These are for the lines that go from the tunnel metal tubes to/from the charcoal canister and in the engine compartment from the tunnel metal tubes to the airbox and the fan shroud connection.

Good place I've used for years. Show us the "Chromated Versions" when they're done!

Congratulations on the end of the journey (for now).

2 weekends to get the wiring and hoses in the frunk done, figure out the seatbelt wiring and buzzer, interior lights and batteries.
Think I have it right thanks to Ed Mayo, Richy and the 700 mile 911 photos. Need a thicker walled large hose from the gas tank to the under cowl evap tank.

Mayo is right. Duplicolour Metalcast is indistinguishable from black anodized aluminium.
Of course now I have to fix that 2.4 badge. Base rectangle is also anodized. Lettering is chromed.

    Man this car looks great.
Maybe I missed it somewhere, but is that the finished look for the fuel tank or will it be refinished (as new) later?
Keep up the great updates and pics.

    I've used this.

RUF CTR tank. Was stripped to bare metal and refinished. Not sure I'd do it again.
