The door jamb seems original paint, the rest of the car has already been painted once many years ago, hasn't aged very well and I plan a bare-metal respray.
The ducktail is an orignal alu-framed one
the original one, instead, is steel and not aluminum, the grill is missing...
The Fusina wheel has probably been installed many years ago, the original one is in the Fusina box in the trunk
today with my friend Andrea70 we opened the box, and it is barely used, NOS or very near to it...

My plan at the moment is to do a complete mechanical overhaul (the car has circa 100k miles) and a bare metal paint, I would like to just clean the internal body parts to keep them as original as possible, just like the interior. The Scheel seat will need to be recovered, but the carpeting and the rest of the interior can just be cleaned IMO.
I would like to put back the original engine lid, and to replace the Bosch TTG lights with a pair of Hella 118s, but not install the Cibiè that the owner bought many years ago

This is only a part of the nice and complete documentation

Looks like the original engine lid needs replacing. Nice car!
Bravo, vipergruen --- for keeping the car real . . . leaving the interior original
Once the car is good running/looking, I think that you'll appreciate that Old Car Feel . . .
Great to have all that documentation, too --- impressive
Any VIN or engine numbers?
And keep those pictures coming . . .
Very nice car. I have bought a same car from the first Italian owner. Also Albertblue and first paint, 40k miles.

LongRanger, VIN is 9110301119, engine I don't have it over here.
This car is no garage queen, the owner was an enthusiast like us and enjoyed driving it fast across all europe, I think it's an excellent restoration project, to be restored trying to keep trace of its interesting history. Hopefully I'll start this winter, have until then to decide how to do it and to which specs restore it

PS: janblije, your car is not albert blue but pastel blue like mine, I almost bought it 2-3 years ago, but the dealer you bought it from was local to it and I was 500kms away...

Yes you are right. Pastelblue. This color is very rare so congratulations. My car was indeed for sale a few years ago by a Porsche dealer in Perugia.
