Reminds me so much of my ossi blau 69S. Mine was a little earlier in the 69s production cycle #1075, vs 1451 here. So many similar original details, my car was sold a few years back, miss it so. It was an active part of so many east coast events.

A very pretty and original car...I suspect it’ll be a little pricey, but deservedly so. Anyone know the asking price?

One question: what is the rubber hose running under the right hand side floor?

Alan, that’s an air conditioner line, from the factory.

Well, I know its not an early S, but I like to share photos of this car because it is unusual and (in my opinion) quite pretty. My wife's 88 targa. Its also completely original, unmodified, and well used. A bit over 115K on the clock now. Never any damage. Only paintwork ever is the lower front valence was repainted for chips. Interior is all original. Engine never apart. Always maintained properly. The original owner (who I knew) had a long and personal history with the factory, and requested this targa exactly as you see it. He picked it up at the factory and put 900 some miles on it before returning it for shipment to the US. Emerald green metallic, chrome trim, the cookies, and other small details uncommon amongst late '80's 911s. Just did a 2000 mile trip in it last week. Smooth, fast, and quiet (unusually so for a targa). Everything works exactly like it should. I thought the trend the past several years of "backdating" was funny, since this car is sort of a factory "backdate". At first glance most Porsche guys assume its a mid-'70s car. The thread on this new Porsche validation service makes me wonder what some newly trained "expert" would make of it? It shares space with a '71 T targa, which is also very original, though repainted once after a accident, and a '68 L targa which has suffered many of the typical abuses of old Porsche and is not very original, but I like it anyway.

May not be a 911 but I'm the original owner and have had the car for 49+ years... my first car and it will always stay in the family.

Finishing restoration of a '72 T targa- keeping as original as possible- lifelong AZ car well preserved...Name: IMG_8879 2.jpg

This car looks completely late 70s. Somewhat incredible. I have an 86 coupe in the same color, and until now hasn't seen any others. very interesting car.
