    2.4E to 2.7RS spec

This may have been asked before and Ive searched for info but cant find anything.

I have a 2.4E engine with 7R cases and am thinking about building to RS spec with MFI. Can anyone let me know what needs to be done?

I know it will need case work, TB and head work and the MFI pump will need redoing. What else is there? Can you reproflie the E cams to S spec?

Im guessing there are people on here that have done this so any advise would be greatly appreicated

    Cheers

for me with a 2.4 S it was simple P&C , space cam in the pump
For the E , more involved. P&C, space cam for MFI, heads, cams. Throttle bodies. Valves.
    not so sure about rods

My additional recommendation, if you decide to do this, I'd go for the 9.5 compression ratio Mahles instead of the stock RS 8.5. Additional kick for the buck.

Thanks for that David. Starting to collect parts for the conversion now so interesting to hear your thoughts on the 9.5 compression. Are they readily available? Ive seen a lot of 8.5 but no 9.5
