Thread: Take a ride with me :) HSR West race

    Chad,

I think this years HSR Fontana event run groups were a little out of whack with Datsun's and BMW's having there own under 2.0 liter run groups. Ed usually gets a very interesting or creative mix in his classes. A broad/loose interpretation of class competitve cars. The red Lotus is identical to mine, but a real center seater that I originally imported from the U.K. ( autobytel Lotus race series ). Sold it to my buddy, but he has a fuel lean condition that keeps detonating pistons which again happened at Fontana.

Anyway, I am a long time POC time trial/cup racer so I am sure we will again meet up on the track. In fact Michael Hammond from our registry was my POC time trial instructor/mentor many moons ago. I've viewed your video several times and you drive your car well ! Brent

One thing I noticed as a novice driver-- You gotta very quick on the reverse lock when the tail end lets go! Chris
