I guess nobody has tried these reproductions so I will spend some hard earned money and see what these guys are doing. Taking a look at their website shows them racing around minature Porsche Speedster Kid-cars in the streets of Vietnam so these guys can't be all bad. Once I get them I will take some detailed photos and let you know the verdict.

Sierra Madre sells them. I have a set in my recently restored 74 Carrera and am very pleased with the quality.

I just received a set of these reproduction black/white sunvisors.
I am sure they are the same as those sold by Sierra Madre, Automobile Atlanta, etc....
I got mine from someone in Germany thru Ebay.

I am TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED in the quality, look and function of these reproductions.
    I have a 1973 911 whose sunvisors were "toast" 20 years ago.
I had a set of the older Porsche black sets that were being sold way back then that have mirrors in both sides.
They fit nice and function as they should.

What I find at fault with these new reproduction black/white sunvisors.
    1) The vinyl is loose for lack of a better word showing wrinkles in the vinyl on both sides. Looks like hell.
    2) The swivel joint at the A pillar is so "bound up" that it is next to impossible to swivel the sunvisor once in place.
I tried loosening the screw in the visor at the joint, but had no affect.
    3) The notch on the sunvisor that snaps into the mount near the mirror is offset enough that it barely can snap into place.

    To me....3 strikes you're out.
    Like these sunvisors.
Out of my car in no time at all.
I'd rather have the all black correctly looking and fitting factory sunvisors vs. these horribly looking/fitting replacements.

    Any questions?
    Waste of good money.
Anyone looking to buy a set of these reproductions cheap?

I need to call your surety into question since I bought a set from Sierra Madre and they are excellent. In fact they came in boxes from Porsche.

Mine came in the OEM Porsche boxes from Sierra Madre as well. I am totally satisfied with the quality.

Sounds like both of you guys are right...

I was under the assumption that these were all made by the same manufacturer....something like the reproduction dashes
were all supposedly made by one manufacturer no matter who you bought them from.

Mine definitely did not come in OEM Porsche boxes.
    Guess there still is hope...
    Thanks guys.
