Don't know anything about your car, but would likely guess that the city is OMAHA, NE - not omana. Best of luck in your search.

    PO Hunting

    Good start . . . this you? . . .

    http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsc...-what-car.html

Anyway, if it were me? . . . I'd start w/ a 'title search' through whatever States (ever) had jurisdiction over/issued registration on this vehicle, via their web-sites. And write letters

Nothing sinister here --- tell 'em who you are, what you've got, and what you're looking for. Be prepared to show your ownership, maybe spend a bit to request records . . . and wait for responses. How're your phone skills? Google any names or addresses that come up. (You'd be frickin' amazed! ---)

Also? --- I'd get a CoA . . . find out what the heck's supposed to be there on/in the car

    With any kinda luck, you'll at least be able to sketch-out a time-line, w/ names/dates/places . . . and --- who knows? . . . maybe a Previous Owner or two . . .

    It can be done --- believe me . . . see post# 246

    . . . and post #283 . . .

    HtH . . . . and good hunting!

coa arrived from Porsche US and it seems surprising correct , so lets question the why again , if you had a T with brown interior would you swap out all the interior for black unless you have a car (say an S ) that had a black interior available ?
next line of action is requesting ownership details from each state

Interesting. Beige Gray is #622 in the 1973 model year. Not sure what the /55 refers to. Can you find original paint, or is the paint tag present by any chance?

Shame if the car was Beige Gray with brown leather sport seats before it became Resale Red/black. Gotta be a story in there somewhere.
