Thread: RS 80 litre tank with AC.

RS 80 litre tank with AC.

I have just refitted the AC in my RS which would have originally had the smaller steel tank due to the front condenser blower being in the way to have the plastic one.

I seem to remember some years ago on here someone having a plastic 80 litre tank that accommodated the front blower.

    Or did I imagine it?

    Hi Nick,

I think you have imagined that, there is no mention of any other plastic tank than the regular 80 liter apart from the race/rallye (RSR) tanks of 100/110 liter. Was there even a blower condensor used with factory AC units?

    Cheers,

    Cees

    Hi Cees!
Long time no see. Hope you are keeping well.
Yeah there’s certainly a blower up the front, the same system that they all had with AC fitted.
Looks like I’ll be sticking with the smaller steel tank then.
    Regards
    Nick
