I understand that the install would likely have to be done when doing a tear down and rebuild of the rockers, not practical if car is already restored.
I doubt that it can be installed if rockers are already closed. no?
So to touch base, is the 69 S the only factory to have the oel lines thru the chasis ? iIs it on all of them or just random ? I say this since i have a friend who has a 69 S eu car, but his run thru the out side.

according to Marco, 69 to 71 S cars had the lines thru the rocker. your friend's car most likely was modified later on for some reason, unless you open up the rockers you can not install or service them.

Take a look at this great thread to see the routing of the oil lines: http://www.early911sregistry.org/for...l-line-routing

Freisinger has seperate lines for 69S. Anyone know what the differences might be???

'70/'71 as well. Changeover occurred in '72 and continued thereafter.

Hi, the 69 set up is the same as 70 and 71. I have a set of each in stock for cars being restored. We currently make the lines for 73 cars and also 74- and when we find the time we will make the 69-71 version. In case it helps we are also just about to start having the correct pipe seals re-made. These are specific to the 69-71 S, you will need 4. Also the kidney bowl is specific for these cars, but it is just a modified standard kidney bowl. The fender plates are still available from Porsche.

Alan, I need to get with you on a couple of different items that you're making, but put me on the list for a set of the pipe o-rings where they come through the body. I need them for personal use.

Hi Marco, no problem at all. Here is one of those seals with a list of other parts which we are looking to make.
