PCNSW Concours - October 28 @ The Armoury Newington

    All,

Just a reminder that the concours is coming up and I encourage you all to come along.

Details and entry can be found here:

    http://pcnsw.onefireplace.com/Defaul...e=EventDetails

This is a wonderful day where you see some lovely cars. Just as nice are the ones you hardly ever see, but the concours tends to attract. In past years we’ve had exquisite early 50’s 356’s, 924 Carrera GT’s and 911 3.0 litre Turbo barn finds. I hear on the grapevine we might have a freshly restored 959 along this year.

All of the registers make a big effort, and we are no exception.

So give your small bumper a tub and come along.

If you don’t want to enter – that’s fine, but enter the car in Treffen. You get to take part in the day, and still park your pride and joy on the concours field.

NOTE – THE GATES FOR THE CONCOURS FIELD CLOSE AT 9AM – AND DO NOT REOPEN TILL MIDDAY. THIS IS A SYDNEY OLYMPIC PARK AUTHORITY RULE, NOT PCNSW’S. So get there early.

Please also note that you need to book ahead (as there are more than 200 cars expected) – you can’t simply turn up on the day and hope to get a park on the field. Instead you’ll be parking in the adjacent public car parks which fill up very quickly on a weekend at this time of year.

If you have any questions best to pm me.

Nicholas Taylor is the champ, I cant compete with his collection.

On the other hand I have a friend with a collection that might have a car that could rival Nicholas.

PS Ryan if you are indeed going, you get to write the article......

Justin would you be kind enough to do a few words and I'll do the follow up article from Eastern Creek....
