New arrival, the search is over.

    Hi Everyone -

I've been poking around here for a few months picking up info and searching for just the right car. As of Friday (Oct 26) I am the proud owner of a Metallic Gold '72 T that originated in Santa Barbara Ca. You may have seen it on the Road Scholars site and since they are local to me here in NC, it seemed like a good opportunity. According to the records it lived in Santa Barbara County until recently moving to the Seattle area and then finally here with us in North Carolina. It's my first 'older' Porsche, but not my first early car as you can see if you follow the link in my signature. This car appears to be quite original, showing only 62K. The original interior components are clean and straight as is the original patina on the underside and in the trunk. It was resprayed to the original color more than 15 years ago and still shows very well. A round of applause and many thanks to a few members here that went out of their way for me and checked out some prospects that were just too far away for me to put eyes on personally. Many thanks to Mike Fitton, Tom McMahon and especially Rich Kreiscott. Please enjoy the fotos...

Very nice car. Great color. I think Tom is still searching for the right car. Glad I could help, I believe the Signal Yellow '72 Targa is still for sale.
