Anyone have a lead please let me know.

    Thanks.
Does it have to be a 996 GT3? The reason I ask is a good friend of mine is selling his Speed Yellow 997.1 GT3:

    Kaefer:

good color, iron brake car- GREAT, and 5 bolt wheels - even GREATER. No center locking wheel that came in the 997 Gen. 2 car.

he did not list the mileage

a type of car I would be VERY happy with if it was an RS and in one of the orange or green colors. These 997 GT3's may not have quite the avid following of the 996 GT3, but is still a fantastic car in its own right. And welcome in my garage any day of the week.
    Also on my short list

Scott, hope it goes to a good home as it appears as a stellar example.

Several friends who have them and have let me drive them wouldn't give them up for anything. After seeing their capabilities firsthand would not lightly dismiss any in this category. They have the engine you want in either 996 or 997 as it is based on the GT1 and Turbo variant and not to be confused with the case / internals in the normal 996.
Personally I like the iron brake cars better for normal street driving and short track sessions, they are MORE than adequate. And a guy can change alot of iron brake pads for what it costs for PCCB replacements .... jmo

I believe the car has just under 19k miles.

We've had the car up on the lift and it looks just as clean on the underside as it does on the topside. It also drives as nice as it looks.

Someone is going to get a sweet car!

Cayman R with a Tubi exhaust is what an early 911S owner needs to have for modern transpo.

Just place the call and buy the darn car already. I have driven it and it is very nice. Comes from a fastidious owner too, so you can't go wrong.

Gt-3's are the RS's of the 90's , like the 930's are the RS's of the 80's. Not that pricey now, but down the road $$. Low production #'s and all-u would expect from the Porsche marque.

    ...Luke if you don't want it..."move-over" cuz Marco's lurking & Jonzing for a White GT-3 !

One shoe has dropped bought a VW Tiguan for my daughter..... now for the Dad.... I do love white and Randy does treat a car w/ kindness..............of course I would be always willing to stand aside for my younger brother Marco......

this is all about being at a cross road..... my wants (11 GT3RS and reasonable marital hanky panky ) vs my wife's view of my needs (a sedan that seats four and very and I emphasize very limited access to her side of the house)....
