I would think the factory would want this car, doesn't answer your question, however.

Searching for engine #907495 and gearbox 902/1 #229687
thinking contact Porsche first for the meet and greet and let them know, if they don't already, its condition , ownership, and availability.
Bring a trusted laywer friend...... one that isn't too greedy to help
Yeah, am thinkings lots, and Lots, and LOTS of zeros would fit behind that asking price.
Possibly John Paterek could be a source of knowledge on how to proceed with this negotiation or Kevin Jeannette of Gunnar Racing ???? Bob Fleming ......
There are lots more here on this board .... let them jump in
special car

Ummm... Raj
Would you be so kind as to post at least one photo of this car for the slobbering masses. Sounds very special.
Valuation: I would go directly to Porsche AG for a start...
Ferry provenance doesn't always equal huge numbers, his 356 Carrera Cab went up for auction a few years ago, it had a T6 nose and a Carrera II motor, condition was said to be sorted but not perfect, I think it sold in the mid $400,000's, a bit of a premium over a Carrera Cab but not earth shattering.

Special car for sure Raj. I am remembering that European Collectibles had this car for sale? I seem to remember a blue, former Lou Marble Early 911 for sale there. Anyway really cool car.

Raj do you have some paperwork to show us that it was Freddy's car?
Thanks
Richard
Out of the normal details on this car. Looks to have a black rear view mirror and the wipers are parked on the drivers side both items of the 1968 MY cars. I wonder, was this a late production 67 car? Chris
