    with all kidding aside,
What was the prior history on that old 911 before it came to pass as a Texas pickup ?

    Anything illustrious ?

remember there was alot of commentary made as it graced the welcoming room for parade attendees. I think I said a few things about it to my spouse, as to " what have we gotten into here " ?

It was our first parade and one of the first things we saw when picking up our nametags and meal tickets
    Best Regards,

Marco, you had promised to never tell,,,,,,
The Texas pickem-up" I believe started as an idea from Teri Davis (Parade Chairwoman,,,first one ever!) for some Texas flavor decor. She approached Dan Butts owner of the body shop with the idea. An employee of his had the car which he was repairing at the time. Suddenly the concept came to light! I'm trying to get a mental picture here of a crew cab dually Cayenne pick-up The ranchers could use it for cleaning out the barn! I think Ferry just rolled over!!!
The beard left right after the wife left, I had them both almost the same amount of time.

I have seen Ed in person, that is not him. Maybe his son, nephew or younger brother.

+1 for the Ed Mayo thread.

Ed Mayo stories are somewhat like Stig stories.

    Here goes:

Some say, Ed Mayo can repair an MFI system to race ready status with a strand of human hair

Some say, Ed Mayo once used his own belt as an alternator belt thus allowing a car to continue running for 57 days straight

Some say, Ed Mayo was simultaneously in Virgina, California and Texas with documented witnesses verifying his presence in all three locations

Here's a recent photo of Ed.
