Loaded the 73 on a transporter headed for its new owner ... after shoveling 3 inches of fresh snow from the parking lot It won't go away. 15 degrees F and off & on white-out conditions today.

Had enough of the 165's on steelies look...went back to the 195's on flat sixes. It's amazing the difference wheels make.

I too switch back and forth between my Steelies and Fuchs to re-energize the appearance.

Picked up the rebuilt gearbox yesterday and spent the nightfiguring out what other parts are need to get the engine trans assembly back in the car. Still snow banks outside and monstrous potholes in the roads. It's the 3 week press!

Put on a new fuel door pull wire on my 83 cab. PITA getting the wire threaded through the tube, with enough wiggling and pushing it finally broke thru. Then discovered the luggage compartment light is on all the time and drained my battery. Pulled the bulb and on to the trickle charger.

Changed the oil and greased up the poly-bronze bushings.

Dreamy picture courtesy of an oily fingerprint on my phone's camera lens.
