Hi Reuben, it was a great event and the car was faultless, which was a relief!

Bolted the last part on the car last Wednesday at 10:30AM. Jumped in the car at 11:00AM and drove to Buttonwillow (350 miles?). Got a huge rock chip in the new paint on the hood, parked over night in a huge rain storm. Learned that my rear window seal (installed by an idiot) leaked like a sieve and allowed a couple of gallons of water to fill up my new seat pans and floor pan. Borrowed a bunch of towels from my RGruppe buddies and was able to soak up most of the water before leaving for Buttonwillow Raceway. Spent most of the rest of the day with my son and I flogging the crap out of the car. It was delightful!
Ciao

Finally got the blower system restoration finished and installed on the 69 hotrod. Whew, that took forever! Thanks to Dave C and Tom B for the help with parts I was missing or goobered up in the process. Brakes are next - rotors, pads, lines, and wheel bearings. And maybe a proper repaint of the gas tank.
