73 speaker rear parcel shelf on COA?

when purchased the 73S had a leather rear parcel shelf with 2 circular perfs for speakers. This was a 73 option. Would that or any option for that matter always appear on the COA?

My model year 73 has the same parcel shelf speaker set up. It isn't on the COA, neither are the sports seats. Neither maybe factory, they could be dealer fit ... or the COA is as inconsistent as other strings suggest!

If you order another COA just tell them what options you want listed.

Thanks gents for the info on the 73 and the very creative way to add new options to the COA. Now if I could only get them to change the car spec to read RS then it would be $120 well spent.

This was a relatively common aftermarket accessory back in the day, I've got one up in my parts stash. I won't swear on a stack of bibles, but I'll bet if you look closely at that unit you'll see that it wasn't Stuttgart made, I'd bet dealer installed, maybe at time of sale.

Hi Ed, I'm sure it's a US dealer option as the speaker brand is US market. Bigger concern is other options which appear factory, sport seats, Becker Europe II, chrome trim on wheel arches & muffler skirt are not listed on COA. So I will fool
Low up with UK Porsche to see if I can get a more detailed COA. Fingers crossed!

Sorry but lost the pics when the hard drive on my old PC died. Need to start using Flickr.

Marge do you have a contact at Porsche USA or an e-mail address?

    Thanks
