    The last registration I have was from 1982 which matches the sticker on the original license plate.

    The last time it was painted it was at the mechanic getting a rebuilt motor. Motor was finished, not the original, but not installed. never saw the road with the "new" paint.

    There was a 2.2T motor with Zenith carbs that was completely built and ready to put in but not installed. Why not?? Best I can say is no good reason. I can say I would never ended up with the car if it had been installed.

    That is very true. Unfortunately my pocketbook is short also and probably wont support 2 car. I also can't imagine what I would have to do for my wife to get her to allow me to have both cars. I already tried telling her we could give it to one of the three boys. She shot me that look that told me we were never going to have 4 Porsche's in the family!!
