    Dealer Description:

Porsche South Bay is thrilled to offer this spectacular, fully restored, matching numbers 1972 Porsche 911 S finished in the stunning combination of Albert blue over Red leather. A five year restoration was performed by noted marque experts California Porsche Restoration in Fallbrook for the current owner who elected to specify the current color combination over the original Light Yellow / Black as noted on the COA. A binder fully documenting the restoration is included with the purchase and highlights the extensive effort and expense poured into the restoration. In addition to the original factory options proper Recaro Sport Seats and a Nardi wood wheel have been installed. It you are in the market for one of the rarest 911 S variants ever produced in a color combination that you are likely to never see again then you owe it to yourself to experience this amazing example.
Nice car but lots of non matching bits ... with clear effect on the value. It has been on the market for some months already.

2.2 L 911S for sale in south of France for 120.000€

Spotted near Nice, a metallic red 911S with sunroof. Seller was a neighbour of mine and I saw the bare metal restoration of his car while mine was waiting for paint about 12 months ago. The car has had its engine and MFI rebuilt in 2012 when purchased by the seller. It is full matching numbers (engine and transmission) and runs great. New Koni shocks in 2014.
    From the add:
    – engine 6301401
    – transmission 9110301027

    – color : Metallic Red 8181 code 021 (original color)
-- Leather seats, original Blaupunkt radio that works.

Car is currently on deposit sale at a reputable Porsche garage in south of France

Sadly, owner passed away two months ago and car is being sold by spouse. I have no financial interest in sale but would like to see car go to good home. Be glad to help with translations or contacts.

    Auction Description:

    - Italian circulation title
    - Sold new in Italy
    - Superb restoration and photographically documented
    - Original engine and box, original shades

According to a certificate issued by Porsche Italia, this car left the factory in late 1969 and was billed to an Italian dealer on December 1 of that year. It is therefore a 1970 model. The certificate specifies that this 911 S was manufactured in a black color (cod. 1010), with brown leatherette upholstery (cod. 21) and the "comfort" equipment including a "S" instrumentation with oil indicator and leather steering wheel. This presentation is exactly that of this car today. In addition, the certificate confirms that its Tipo 911/02 engine is the one that fitted it when it left the factory. This car is therefore perfectly compliant.

It was purchased in 2010 by its current owner, a major Porsche collector based in Modena, who wanted one of the first 911 2.2 Ss delivered in Italy. It was in original condition and, to make it perfect, he decided to devote a total restoration to it. A large file of photos shows that it was entirely dismantled with the body exposed, the work having been carried out by Efferreci Service, in Modena, whose invoices totaled € 18,820. The interior repair was entrusted to the Ferraresi workshop in Ferrara, which took over the "Pepita" fabric that was originally designed. The mechanics (original gearbox and engine) have been restored by a renowned Italian Porsche workshop well known to our collector. The car is accompanied by certificates from Porsche Italy.

With its beautiful restoration and impeccable presentation, this Porche 911 S will allow its new owner to rediscover the pleasure of old versions and to understand why this model has met with such success, which has never failed.

Hi, I came across this ( https://www.ebay.com/itm/1966-Porsch...4e3e%7Ciid%3A1 ) which seems really cheap if its true. Any recommendations on how best to validate its real?
