Hey, what more do you want? It has a 2,2 decal and engine was dynoed at 181 mph!

Yes, you are correct this car (if it is an S model) should have Sport seats as standard. Any bets that a magnet would not slide off the rear lid and license panel?

And then they sourced two different standard seats. Left side has '69-70 release mechanism while the right side has the '71 release mechanism.

I'm not sure 'sport seats' were ever a standard item for any 1969 - 1973 911S. There are plenty of 911S's of that era with standard type of seats. Maybe someone with a PCNA 911 ordering guide of the period could confirm?

I bet they are having a difficult time what AL-U-MINUM is. Anyone know if 72S came with Aluminum deck lid?

Nice article last year on "Partick".

Thanks much! Dave did a fantastic job writing the article.

Paperwork from the 'old boy' showing Sport seats as standard (ie, not an option).

That's is very interesting what year did sport seats become the standard seat in a 911 S. I've owned two 73 S's and they both had sport seats that were not listed on COA. I also owned a very original 72 S years ago with sport seats. The two 69 S I've owned had the standard seats.

I must not know what I'm looking at, but I don't see a reference to Sport seats...
