This understated and rather sorry-for-itself project car gives off a real aura of former greatness and has the potential to be very special once again. With restored 911S 2.2 models selling for in excess of £150,000, this car, with the benefit of so many original parts, offers a real opportunity for an enthusiast or restorer to return this venerable 911S to life.

    £150,000 restoration and you'll have a £150,000 car.

The cost of a restoration in the UK is currently discussed on DDK. £50,000-80,000 is mentioned.

    Auction Description:

    - 2.0-liter, 160-hp flat six-cylinder engine
    - Five-speed manual transmission
    - Reported as in original condition
    - Original wheels
    - Kenwood AM/FM/CD
    - Interior described as excellent
    - Four-wheel disc brakes

This 1967 Porsche 911S is said to be in original condition and is offered in the rather uncommon white with white interior color presentation. It’s powered by an air-cooled 2.0-liter, 160 horsepower flat six-cylinder engine which is paired to a five-speed manual transmission. With four-wheel disc brakes to ensure safe deceleration, this is the perfect car for long distance cruising. The interior is completed in white featuring bucket seats, green dial VDO instrumentation and a modern Kenwood AM/FM/CD unit. It is reported as a very nicely preserved car that has excellent interior, its original wheels and is forwarded as being a great driving car.

This 1967 911S exemplifies the craftsmanship Porsche puts forth in their vehicles. Sources state that Porsche produced 6,445 examples of the 911 in 1967 and of those only 1,823 were 911S coupes. The 911 is arguably one of the most iconic cars in the world and this car is an excellent opportunity to own a true time capsule.

Why such a low estimate on the white 67S? Has the market dropped THAT much that one can pickup a decent matching-number SWB S for $100k??

Given that proper restored cars are $200k+, this driver condition car would be worth somewhere in auction estimate plus buyers premium.

The car is not perfect, and problably is not something you would concours let alone drive across country without first sorting out.
But if the numbers match, it is a real deal car and that is worth something. Worth More in it's current condition then a restored 69-73T imo.

Would be fun to drive as is. or make a good resto project.

Complete Projects on ebay recently have seen $65k and $105k bids.
