    Some of this car at RM auction are with fake/alterated VIN numbers.....that's the reason of some estimates very low.

    Even RM can't assure the authenticity of the lots at auction.....so stay alert.
    I wouldn't bid on a early911 if I can't see in person, especially at this auction

    And RM isn't disclosing any of this? It's just buyer beware?

    I've seen cars pulled from auctions because of this. I guess that was back in the old days.
