Not in the market myself but I happened upon this example when visiting Silverstone Classic race event with friend where it sold at the auction today...thought the sale might be of interest to folks who follow the 73 S model.

73 S Targas as are quite rare in RHD configuration and this example had been in quite long term ownership.
Sold for almost £130k which is circa USD190 after 12.5 percent buyers premium at current £:$ 1.3 forex.
There may be a better thread to add this datapoint?

By way of comparison from 2017 another one of the fifty c16 RHD Targa that had been restored went for £118k after £40k restoration by same auction house. The one that sold yesterday had paint but in many ways pretty original whereas this one in link below also known history and periods of long term ownership appears to have had more restoration.

I understand that the RHD version of targa was RHD (c16) only in model year 1973. The fact it is said there were only 50 S Targas in RHD sold might be due to a number of factors:
1) The RHD 911 targa models did not initially appear on the model year 73 price list published by Porsche cars Great Britain on 11th September 1972 to coincide with the new model year lineup.
2) The 911 targa in c16 RHD form only appeared here in Great Britain on the pricelist reissued Porsche cars Great Britain a few weeks later on 4th October -- new pricelist hot on heels of first one just a couple of weeks before that years' Earl's Court British national motor show (or more likley exactly matching the date of the Paris motor-show)
3) The Carrera RS likewise only appeared for the first time in that reissued pricelist British less than a month later, the limited edition homologation model having just been launched in Paris that first week of October 1972.
4) In the British market the 1973 targa S configuration was roughly around £250 more expensive than the RS Sport M 471 but was less than the RS L i.e. when specifying M472 Touring conversion order to basic RS H after passing homologation duties at Stuttgart weigh scales. Targa S RHD less than M472 by roughly £150. Presumably the RS arrival diverted some S coupe and S maybe targa sales at a time Porsche were famously fretting about moving the 500?
5) If the buyer of a 1973 911s targa had gone completely mad and also ticked the sportomatic box option on their new targa S order in model 1973 they would've bought the most expensive configuration of 911 available in the c16 RHD British market at that time, being the princely sum £6.04 more than the 73 RS Touring with lighter coupe body shell but it's similar S equipment.
I don't know how many 911S sportomatic Targas were built in RHD (c16) RHD format but suspect they be rare if any existed in the figure of 50 often quoted for 73 targa s?
Here are a couple of examples how the targa in new to market RHD form hit the British press in the autumn of 1972 with RHD / steering on right...
The former in a weekly car magazine report on motor-show...

The latter in a magazine aimed at well heeled country set ...

Interesting that the latter whilst being published in calendar 72 is clearly managing customer expectations that delivery of targa with steering on the left in UK is Feb of 1973 around half way through the typical model year cycle. Interesting lead time. By way of comparator timing my RHD RS was according to fahfzeug auftrag or factory production order paperwork I have on file was entered into the official factory production order system November 1972 having been ordered by customer in the first week of October 1972 when the 500 immediately sold out and then completed production before end 12/72 -- it was first registered first week of February 1973 (the weekend of M491 Daytona 24 h win). So using that well documented c16 example as a lead time projection onto c16 targa suggests the very first of the one year only RHD Targas would have first been made from around the end of calendar 1972. The 911 S is not my usual focus so experts in the model will hopefully forgive this approximation / lead time deduction based a different contemporary RHD model ( maybe as the RHD targa didn't get a delay due to second step conversion order maybe they didn't even start production of them until beginning of calendar 73 for Feb delivery in GB?). While indicative this rough pre registration comparison for GB delivered car might be wrong but seems to suggest that the RHD form 73 targa didn't get going in British market sales promotion or production immediately at start of the model year 73 following summer shutdown but like RS might have been launched slightly out of step with typical Porsche MY cycle in October of 72 -- rather than commencing immediately after summer shutdown?
Sources on price: original Porsche Cars Great Britain Ltd price lists printed on good old pre metric foolscap paper! All comparisons based on basic price plus purchase tax ...but no other options. Other snippets from history files, old magazines on my shelf. Curious the line drawings in British magazine depict LHD targa but with round mirror on driver's side when it is announcing availability of a brand new for GB and other row market RHD targa?
