    911S Cars for Sale

    Hi...

I want to start a new set of threads. We have the Ebay threads, but I think we should also have a set on asking prices on cars as well. Yes, I know that "askin aint gettin" but it does give a framework for current asking prices, and also exposes all of us to cars in the marketplace.

Here's my starter from European Collectibles

    Car #: C910
    Price: $64,950
    Year: 1973
    VIN: 9113310532
    Engine: 2.4-liter (190HP)
    Mileage: 38,845 miles
    Color: Silver/Black
Description: This early 911S 2.4 TARGA is one of only 914 manufactured in 1973. All original interior with minimal wear, new factory Porsche dash, special ordered in silver with black factory sport seats, H1 Bosche headlights, dealer installed air-conditioning, driving lights thru horn grills, S front steel spoiler, five original Fuch alloy wheels and original Blaupunkt AM/FM radio with manual. This is a two owner 911S with tools, jack, books and CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY from Porsche. Exceptional condition with recent high quality re-spray. Truly a rare find and it would be hard to duplicate!

I think that Targa was on EBay, wasn't it? Could be the beer I guess. (Reward for the last week working in Texas and the hell it was getting out of there)

Perhaps...but the ebay threads are here. From my perspective it's not as much as a "locator" but gives us a history of asking prices over time. The ebay threads allow us to go back and search prices. I feel that this thread would allow the same.

In addition, this would allow us access to cars previously offered to compare against other current vehicles being offered.

Think of it as a database....

Ok guys..... the reason for this sticky is to post listings you find of cars for sale on websites around the world, just as I have done at the beginning of this post. It's intended to be a database.

While I know "we all" like to make our comments...why not take those to "off topic", or to the general discussion list.

While these lists are slow in getting started...I'm sure they will pick up over time, and become a useful tool to us all.

I have a few others to post, just waiting to get back to a high speed connection, rather than the dial up connection I am on right now.

    thanks,
    Eric
