    The 10th Anniversary Early 911S meet in Las Vegas was a special moment for me. Early R Gruppe, about a year after the 1998 Montery Historics featuring Porsche, and a new world for many of us. The possibilities seemed endless. I drove my blue '72S on back roads from Seattle and did the same thing going home. It was my first experience driving through NE Oregon, and the one and only time I've driven on a track at full tilt without a helmet! I had met a few guys like Chuck Miller the year before and ended up meeting more at the event, including Rick Cabell and Eade Hopkinson. It was a magical time...
