PM replied Karim. i take it you have compared the chalk to the cheese.

Too confirm, you need 2 labels, for a pair of fronts.

Here is an original tag sewn on.

To up-date on rear belt tags the male and female belts do have different pt#'s both Porsche & Repa.
    1969-70 male Porsche # 901.803.237.20 Repa # 01.901109.1
    1968-1970 only female Porsche # 901.803.236.20 Repa # 01.90111.1
    Funny 1969 female only is different Porsche # 901.803.235.20 Repa # 01.90110.1
These are the only belts I have.
I guess stretch it would be a bit of pain in the butt to do pt# changes for just the rear a whole new die set to change a few numbers.

I found this label at a period belt (1973, probably 914). The item was sold by a reputed vendor (Marco at Elevenparts).
Now: which type of "factory jagged edge finish" is correct or did this vary ?

    Thx for these details

Yes, they varied. I have that pattern on all the 72, and 73 belts i have seen.

Then the picture i posted seems to have the "ends" turned under.
