Wow, that thing is beautiful! How did it end up with a sunroof - does this add value, subtract value or is it neutral on such a nice car?

If you liked the burgundy one, maybe you are going to love this dark red metallic one. Consigned to the Gooding auction at Amelia Island, March 9, 2013.

Tom - Any idea on the history or VIN of that dark red metallic car? Is that a '69 S ?

I ask because I wonder if it is my old car. I sold my '69 911S hotrod track car in early 2009. It was a hard core track rat with a 2.6L Supertec engine, stripped out lightweight with full racing suspension.... but ALL of the original parts went with it. How many '69 S's in dark red metallic can there be?

This is a car is a value. 20 yrs from now no one will even care about the sunroof. Tom Scott did a tremendous job on this car.

All the guys that have called on mine would do very well looking at this one.....

The 2 cars would be an interesting 'competition' at Amelia.

    And the winner is...
