    New door seals from Elevenparts

Interesting news from last "Classic Porsche":
Elevenparts will not sell single rubbers. Will be sold in the US by Stoddard, possibly others.

The "stuff" pictured molded in the picture is called duct seal compound.

I'll be interested in hearing how well these work. I've definitely got a wind noise issue I'd like to fix.

I think it's also called butyl rubber or dum dum.
    I like "monkey poop" better.

We have been making these for a while now, I guess we need to market our products quicker. The sections which fit against the window have additional mouldings I wonder if there's has those. If just a strip like the profile shown there will still be wind noise.

    Thanks

My car has always "whistled" in the area of the dog leg bends adjacent to the dashboard. I've replaced door seals, thickened the seal profile with inserts made from plastic tubing and have applied "dum-dum," but some noise still persists. Searches on this and other Porsche sites reveal that I am not alone. Is there really any solution to this problem?

the original door rubber had a swollen bulge in the corner adjacent to the dash to deal with the wind noise. Do any of these repros have this?

Yeap, ours do but ours are not available to the market yet. It makes all the difference to have the additional moulding.

Where have I heard that before ? Oh yeah, still waiting for the correct headliners you were going to make. I'd be first in line if it is ready within 6 weeks.
