Yes, it´s sad. I would have loved to sit down and chat with this gentleman and hear his stories. I can not imagine how bad it must feel to part with a car like this after all those years. I have only had my 67S for 3 short years and it already feels like forever.

Hoping to avoid the whole problem when the day eventually comes. The plan is to brainwash my little girl to take over the car. I have started early...

Yup, looks like he didn't make the decision willingly
He must be asking himself why he only put 30k on the clock!

    Schiefer,
Yes that is the Silver car, from a private collection in Ohio, it's a perfect example of a 1967S. (If I have the correct recollection) It was imported to the US from Japan. The fender mirrors were a Japan placement.

I believe if you ordered twin Talbot mirrors from the factory they were included in a box with the car to be placed at a location of your own choosing.

Agreed I had a 63 356 Super 90 Sunroof Coupe and that is how it came.

Ahhhh the sixties... I envision myself one early Saturday morning wearing plaid shorts, black shoes with white socks smoking a cigarette heading to the hardware store to buy a bag of nails.
SWB cars are an acquired taste however once acquired theirs no turning back.

I have a database of all the RHD 67S cars known to exist. There are 22 out of 35 built known to me at this moment in time.
There are two which should be added to this thread. They are original and unrestored. All the others have had work including my own.

This is the first one I would like to put forward as a reference car.
    <a href="http://s103.photobucket.com/albums/m160/210bhp/305481S/?action=view&current=ede1691935d843bc020514f8a4a08 5b3.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m160/210bhp/305481S/ede1691935d843bc020514f8a4a085b3.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket Pictures, Images and Photos" /></a>

    And the second,
    <a href="http://s103.photobucket.com/albums/m160/210bhp/307605S/?action=view&current=be0ea72a4e3fca23e904a6f5dc7f9 05d.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m160/210bhp/307605S/be0ea72a4e3fca23e904a6f5dc7f905d.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket Pictures, Images and Photos" /></a>

This site(http://imageevent.com/356consulting/1967911s) within the "for sale" reference is a real God Sent. Thanks for the timely post as I am in the middle of my 1967 911S Targa restoration. It is going on the rotissery tomorrow after I have removed all of the suspension.
